One Little Prayer at a Bus Stop

I had an experience where, one day, we left our apartment and ventured out on our bikes. The first person I saw was someone at the bus stop. We rode past her, but felt that we needed to stop and say hi. We stopped, shared a card, talked, and at the end we prayed with her and got a return appointment. I taught her once after that, but got transferred [ to another area].

Three months later, I got to attend her baptism. As I walked in, she threw her arms around me and, with tears in her eyes, said, “Thank you for everything! You have been the biggest part in my salvation.” It was one little contact at the bus stop, one little lesson and prayer can change a person’s life.

Remember what you say today. You might forget, but the recipient might remember it for a lifetime. I know that Satan wants us to be afraid. He wants us to fear, but as I have built my belief in God and trust in Him, it has made the difference. Just believe and all will be alright.
